Extraordinary collections

We organize special collections in various unexpected circumstances. This was the case, for example, during the devastating floods in Rwanda in May 2023. As a result of flash floods in the Lake Kivu area, 160 people died there on the Rwandan side alone (unfortunately, on the Congolese side it was many times more). As we happened to know personally the management of one of the schools in the affected area, we could be sure that the funds would be handled correctly and that they would go where they were supposed to. We received invoices from all the material and food aid. We know that the level of corruption in Africa is much higher than in Europe, so we do not send money anywhere where we are not sure that it will not be misused.
