The Foundation was estabilished in 2023, but the idea for its establishment is much older. It is related to the work story of the founder. We are a small family foundation, a team of several people who have had a shorter or longer relationship with Africa. During our time in various African countries we have, among other things, tried to find viable concepts to help the poor people of Africa. Now we want to primarily support the community of people who handcraft baskets for us. For these, the knitters are paid a premium of above local standards. The funds go on to educate the children of the knitters, for health care; but we also support individual projects serving the wider community in Bolgatanga. However, as in the past, various one-off events can be part of our work. We thank all those who have supported us so far.
